don't get me wrong.
i take tons of photos but the hassle of borrowing someone's card reader to download/upload and edit them just puts me off ... =P ... but enough of making excuses leaving my blog plain and uneventful, i think i shall go and buy my own card reader... like tonight!
~
anyway, bad news is, i can't put scuba on my list of mission(s) accomplished. =( i got scared. sigh. and each time i think about how scared i was, i just sigh.
i so hate being a loser! =P
so i shall comfort myself by thinking of climbing mt kinabalu again or something, since i'm not a water baby. <---- excuses, excuses!
~
crocheting is coming along fine. i've just started on a project a few hours ago and let's see how long it'll take me to finish it.
my finger joints are aching, i have to admit. ughhhhh i hope i don't get arthritis!
~
right.
i thought we'd go to Putrajaya to check out the hot air balloons but looks like my butt is happily glued to the seat and the crochet hook in my right hand ...
~
kinda itching to conquer some kilometres ... i've tempted YB with BKT for breakfast tomorrow if we go running in the morning ... =)

at the last minute
as usual!
work is piled up high and vibrating with urgency but all i can do is let my thoughts swirl lazily in my head, dream of nothingness and wished i was super efficient and had NO work piled up for me.
this is what happens when i'm about to go away for the weekend - deadlines to meet. phhhbt. nothing new, of course, but i'm just sloppily slow.
i don't like swimming. i'm sure most of my friends (should) know by now that if you let me choose between island hopping and trekking to a jungle to look for a lost bear, i'd choose the latter.
thus disciplining myself for the past 10 days or so, to swim 200m and learn how to tread water has been a chore. i'd rather go jogging, mind you, despite YB grumbling that he doesn't like running either. (we both aren't water babies, that's for sure. yeah. we rather conquer Mt Kinabalu!!!)
so hmm yeah. that's about it. i've been busy swimming and stuff and i just realised that with all the activities (or chores) you have to do every night, it leaves you with not much cuddle time for the rest of the evening. come 1130pm and i'm ready to go off to bed. where did all the time go??
we all know that the first 2 hours after work is spent getting stuck in the atrocious traffic jams. then we get home and prepare dinner, do some laundry, watch tv. then it's time for me to go for a swim or a jog. then hit the showers and by the time i'm ready to relax, it's 11 or 1130pm.
bugger me timbers.
life is indeed short.
no wonder i don't have the time to blog anymore.
well, on to something more interesting. i'm getting the hang of crochet, the slip stitch, single crochet stitch, double crochet stitch, treble stitch ... just that much. i'm making granny squares now ... and regardless of such a fuddy duddy name, they can be quite cool! =)
i'm hoping to make a nice tote bag to keep my crochet stuff and i hope i can show it to you ... say, end of the month? *lol* i'm such a granny!
my poor cammie (camera) is rather neglected now, so i shall crochet a nice colourful pouch for it soon. (oh no, should i crochet cammie's bag first or mine? hmmm.)
have you watched Up In the Air starring George Clooney? you should! i think it's quite entertaining and i was amused when the crowd clapped at a witty comeback. like, ooooh i didn't know the Malaysians could be so fun!
updates on my New Year Resolutions:
1. Not to buy magazines - failed since day 3 of the new year.
2. Not to buy books - failed since day 3 of the new year and repeatedly failing on a monthly basis.
3. Lose 2kg by CNY - failed by 1kg. =P
4. picking up something new, i.e. crochet - ongoing, yay!
and when i get back from KK next week, i hope to update you on another successful achievement! *cross fingers*
p.s. i'm worried bout getting arthritis in my fingers from crocheting. talk about a granny worry! but i don't know where to find bamboo crochet hooks in Malaysia, it's ridiculous! i'll have to resort to asking friends to get them for me from overseas. =(
