Chef Diary, Plaza Damansara

a year ago or so, a new eating place opened at Medan Setia 1 and the first thing my colleague and i would do is to google for reviews.

last week, we finally decided to give it a try as we ran out of ideas on where to go for lunch.

at noon, we were the first patrons and we opted for the set lunch at RM18.90++.

cauliflower soup, which sounded peculiar, but it was good! what was missing was just a piece of bread to go with it.

my mixed pineapple salad or something like that. it was sweet to taste. not bad, i must say.

the beef pepperoni ariabatta ... which was really nice, mmmmmm.

the grilled chicken linguinie which looked like a chinese stir-fry dish! but it was not too bad.

my smoked salmon sandwich with potato wedges. the wedges were probably dusted with beef bacon powder or something, as it had a hint of it. ;)

my only complaint was that the bun was toasted til it was too hard for me to chew. =( it made me wonder, though, whether i should have been given an option to what type of bread i wanted my sandwich made. hmmm.

regardless, the 'contents' of my sandwich was satisfying.

the unassuming sign.

halfway through our lunch, more people started coming in. so the place must be doing well!

their ala carte dishes are priced between RM20 to RM60, i think. they also serve tapas. google for more info, will ya? i may be giving the wrong info, innit! ;)
