Food Pictures ... Again

Sometimes, I tell myself to stop taking pictures of my food because there are just too many useless pictures kept in my phone and I don't do anything with them until I remember to.

I don't really post them up on Facebook because that would be a TOTALLY Asian thing to do! *laughs*

Tonkatsu @ Eat Paradise (next to Isetan)
2nd Floor, One Utama Shopping Centre
Petaling Jaya.

If you're looking for a place which serves you a second helping of rice and cabbage salad for free, do try out this place.

I opted for Negi Miso Rosu Katsu set and boy, was I STUFFED.

You can always have some prawns with your pork loin/fillet.

The meal was served this way with brown rice in a separate bowl. Generous heap of spring onion on top of the pork.

It was good to have the meat only partially covered with the miso rosu sauce as I found it a bit too cloying after a while. The cabbage was doused with roasted sesame dressing, making it so much better tasting. I love roasted sesame dressing!

Note: I would advise you to either share the meal with someone, or only have it on your own when you're really, really, really hungry. Like, you ran your 32KM that morning, perhaps? :D

Cafe Nine
Ground Floor, Ming Annexe Building
Off Jalan Bukit Nenas, Jalan Ampang, KL.

Just beside Mulberry Restaraunt & Bar (previously known as Speak Easy) is a small cafe by the name of Cafe Nine.

It was small yet cosy, and seemed to attract a steady lunch crowd.

My colleagues and I were curious and one day, not knowing where to go, we decided to give it a go.

I chose the set lunch of Iced Lemon Tea and Spaghetti Carbonara. It was not too bad, I suppose. It was not rich and cloying, so that's a good thing, right? :)

The Iced Lemon Tea was weak.

One colleague chose the Green Curry fettucine which looked like a laksa dish. We didn't know what to make of it, especially when the broth was decorated with some pea sprouts (tau miew).

She found the dish strange. :D

Another colleague opted for the chicken and mushroom pie (hmmm, I don't remember) and she had to wait 20 minutes for the dish to be served. She was not amused with the long wait.

Sorry, we won't be visiting the place again.

Namoo In The Park, Publika.

I went there again for the 3rd time, but this time on my own and was starving after a long run that morning.

(I tend to crave rice during my long run days.)

I ordered the beef bibimbap for RM16.90.

There was an option of upgrading it to the hot stone bowl for an additional RM2.

Had a can of Coke to go with it. ;D

I had no complaints. It was great and delicious for a dish with required such simple ingredients. *smack lips*
